Troubleshooting image downloads and expired results

Resolve input errors, source failures and temporary result links.

Check the input first

Select the tool that matches your link: a video link for a thumbnail, a channel link for an avatar or banner. Non-YouTube redirects and malformed identifiers are rejected before a source request.

If a source returns no supported image, try its public page directly. Private pages, removed content and channels without banner artwork cannot produce the corresponding result.

Retry real failures

A source can time out or change its page structure. Retry once after checking the link; repeated rapid requests may trigger the five-minute limit. A network error does not mean a file was downloaded.

The Cancel button stops the current browser request. You can retry immediately if the rate limit allows it. A server task already started may finish independently, but the browser will not navigate to that cancelled result.

Result lifetime and files

Results last for 30 minutes and support refresh while their stored files remain available. After expiry, return to the tool and run a new request. Temporary result URLs are excluded from search indexing.

Use each card’s Download button. On mobile, swipe the result row to inspect other sizes. Check your browser’s Downloads folder and open the file to confirm it saved successfully.
